Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit put their designated gear on as part of helo dunker training here, Aug. 27. Helo dunker training is used to prepare Marines for a worst-case scenario when aboard a helicopter. During the training, they executed the helo dunker exercise four times with different elements in each scenario. Before taking part in the actual helo dunker practical application, the Marines were given classes on the different elements of the training and how to properly complete every exercise.
