A new inspector-general is at the DSC, Sgt. 1st Class Debra A. Crump-Adams, of the Fort Campbell, Ky., area. On the left, Brig. Gen. Michael Mann, commanding general of the DSC, swears in Sgt. 1st Class Crump-Adams, while in the middle, Lt. Col. Russell Gregory, Nashville, Tenn., senior IG, reads the oath of office. She was sworn in Sept. 7, and completed the rigorous IG course in August. Inspector-general is one of several viable staff members that ensures issues and problems are dealt with appropriately, if a soldier has a concern he believes has not been properly addressed through his commanders. The DSC commands and supervises Army Reserve units for the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Scott AFB, Ill. The DSC Reserve units perform terminal, rail, deployment/distribution support missions and watercraft missions and functions throughout the world.
