Joshua Bouck, a surveyor with Geodetic Survey Team, 1st Intelligence Battalion, uses a GPS to measure an obstruction during a survey of the Naval Auxiliary Landing Field at San Clemente Island, Calif., Sept. 25. The survey provides the team an opportunity to enhance their skills and offers the airfield an accurate assessment of obstructions and elevations for incoming flight paths.
