Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard clear debris from a path that has been overrun by vines at Waimea Valley botanical gardens. Bonhomme Richard is participating in Rim of the Pacific 2008. RIMPAC is the world's largest multinational exercise scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Participants include the United States, Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
