Petty Officer 2nd Class Sean Simmons, assigned to the radiology department aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy positions a 12-year old Timorese patient for a CT-scan. Mercy is anchored off the coast of East Timor supporting Pacific Partnership 2008. Pacific Partnership provides humanitarian assistance in cooperation with the government of East Timor, partner nations including representatives from Australia, India, Indonesia, Portugal, Canada, and the Republic of Korea and many non-governmental organizations.
