The aircraft carrier Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) moors alongside USS Enterprise (CVN 65) during its transit from dry dock to pier 3 at Huntington Ingalls Industries Newport News Shipbuilding. Ford will replace the Enterprise, which is the Navy's first nuclear powered aircraft carrier commissioned in 1961.
