F/A-18A++ Hornets take off from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam to participate in an air-to-air combat simulation Dec. 6 during Exercise Forager Fury II. The series of exercises which Marine Aircraft Group 12 is conducting in the Mariana Islands focus on refining core skills within the squadrons and MAG. This, in turn prepares them to function as an integrated air unit able to perform a wide range of missions. The F/A-18s are with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, Marine Aircraft Group 41 is currently assigned to MAG-12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
