Petty Officer 2nd Class Conrad P. Hass fires a M240 machine gun mounted in an MH-60S Seahawk at simulated enemy personnel during a live-fire, close-air support training Dec. 10 Farallon de Medinilla Target Range, Northern Mariana Islands. The MH-60Ss are currently forward deployed to the island of Tinian, coordinating with Marine Corps units during a simulated surge operation as part of exercise Forager Fury II. FF II is an aviation training relocation event intended to meet U.S.-Japan bilateral goals such as reduced local impacts by dispersing the training to other areas and increased operational readiness. Hass is a naval aircrewman with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 based out of Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Joseph Karwick)
