Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeremy A. Cieplich checks a GAU-21/A .50 caliber machinegun mounted in a MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, before conducting live-fire, close-air support training Dec. 10 at Farallon de Medinilla Target Range, Northern Mariana Islands. The MH-60s are currently forward deployed to the island of Tinian, coordinating with Marine Corps units during Exercise Forager Fury II. The purpose of exercise FF II is to employ and assess combat power generation and operations in a deployed, austere and unimproved environment.
Cieplich is a naval aircrewman with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 based out of Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.
