KODIAK, Alaska (Nov. 27--Capt. Richard Houck, !7th Coast Guard District Chief of Staff, presented the Commandant's Performance Challenge Award to Cmdr. Craig Gilbert, Commanding Officer cutter Storis Tuesday afternoon on the cutter's mess deck. The award recognizes the crews efforts in establishing new ways of doing business. "It is an old ship- but even an old ship can be improved with new ideas!" said Houck during the presentation.
