ELIZABETH CITY, North Carolina (July 23, 2002)--Learning how to sew is one of the myriads of jobs an Aviation Survival Technicians (AST) has to learn. ASTs function operationally as Helicopter Rescue Swimmers and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) Basic.
