LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2003)--Coast Guard Port Security Unit 311 Los Angeles is deploying overseas to support the war on terrorism and to prepare for future contigencies. The 120 members is departing from March Air Force Reserve Base. Cmdr. Donald Karol, PSU 311's commanding officer, gave a brief address to his unit prior to their departure.
