LOS ANGELES--Shown is the Los Angeles Lighthouse, known as Angel's Gate. the only lighthouse of its kind in California. Its structure is steel framed, and the first two of six floors are steel plated. The solid design protects Angel's Gate Lighthouse from inclement weather. The 73-foot lighthouse is located at the mounth of Los Angeles' Long Beach Port, the third largest container port in the world.
