AT SEA--What once held 103 Dominican Republic migrants, this approximately 30-foot yola, or migrant vessel, was intercepted about 2 miles west of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Following the transfer of all migrants to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Nunivak, a 110-foot patrol boat homeported in San Juan, PR, and later the Coast Guard Cutter Oak, a 225-foot buoy tender homeported in Charleston, S.C., it was towed offshore and sunk by the Puerto Rican police unit Forces United for Rapid Action, or FURA.
