Marine Air Control Squadron 4, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, put the Marine Corps' newest mobile air traffic control system to the test in July during Exercise Air Warrior in Malaysia. The system, now on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, is only one of four such systems in the Marine Corps and the only one currently being used outside of the continental U.S. It's called the Army Navy Transportable Radar Navigational Aid 31-A, Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System.
