Tarboro, NC (Sept. 21)--MST1 Harry Guntheroff from Marine Safety Office St. Louis maneuvers his 16-foot flood punt over rural roads of Old Sparta, in Tarboro Sept. 21. Four days earlier, Coast Guard helicopters rescued more than 300 people from flooded areas in and around the town.
