Davis Straits, XSE (June 5 ) -- A Coast Guard HH-65A helicopter departs the CGC Healy's flight deck during a flight operations exercise out in the open ocean between Canada and Greenland. Though normally stationed ashore, the Dolphins can be carried on flight-deck equipped cutters and are the ship's eyes to locate objects over the horizon. In support of polar ice-breaking missions, the twin-engine Dolpins operate up to 150 miles off shore with a crew of four. USCG photo by PA3 Jaime Bigelow
