The first of the Coast Guard's new enhanced mobile incident command posts (eMICP) is displayed outside of Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C., Nov. 26, 2007. The primary function of the eMICP is to provide sheltered work space, voice and data connectivity as well as command and control capabilities on a mobile platform.
