    ABOARD THE COAST GUARD CUTTER COCHITO (August 3, 2007)-Petty Officer 1st Class Charlie Gordon enters information into a PDA during a boarding of a commercial fishing vessel this afternoon in the Port of Hampton Roads. During boardings, crewmembers inspect the registration and safety devices of each vessel and then enter the data into the computer and a Coast Guard database. Gordon is a crewman aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Cochito, an 87-foot patrol boat based in Norfolk, Va., whose missions include port and waterways safety and security, enforcement of federal fisheries regulations, and search and rescue.
