SAN FRANCISCO (April 19, 2008)- Maj. Gen. Thomas Csrnko, Commanding General Army Special Forces (Airborne), speaks during a ceremony held on Yerba Buena Island, at which the Silver Star was presented posthumously in the name of Staff Sgt. Roger Hallberg. The award was presented to Staff Sgt. Hallberg's mother, Doris Cobb Hallberg, for courageous actions during a battle in Vietnam 41 years ago.
