(June 27, 2008) ALAMEDA, Calif. - Petty Officer Arturo Vega, of Air Station San Francisco, conducts a safety brief in Spanish to Capt. Fabian Martinez, the Ecuadorian Coast Guard Commander, prior to a San Francisco Bay Area familiarization flight. An Ecuadorian Delegation, lead by Rear Adm. Jose Noritz, Chief Operating Officer for Marine and Littoral Forces, visited U.S. Coast Guard District 11 as relation-building representatives from June 26 to 27. Discussions and presentations were held on law enforcement, maritime vessel traffic, Coast Guard Sector San Francisco authorities, aviation and small boat uses. Cmdr.
