SAN FRANCISCO - The CGC Sockeye acts as the On Scene Coordinator here Oct. 13, 2008, after fires broke out on Angel Island Oct. 12, 2008. Working with the Tiburon Fire Department, Coast Guard Station Golden Gate assisted by providing transportation of firefighters and assets to and from the island.
