PACIFIC OCEAN - A helicopter tie down crew ducks low as they return from tying down an H-65 Dolphin helicopter onboard the Coast Guard Cutter Sherman, homeported in Alameda, Calif., Oct. 31, 2008. The helicopter flight crew, from Air Station Kodiak, Alaska, is required to conduct deck-landing drills prior to operating a helicopter onboard a cutter. The flight operations take place during a two-month long Alaska Patrol where the 378-foot cutter's crewmembers will conduct fisheries enforcement, law enforcement, and search and rescue missions in the Bering Sea.
