MONTEREY, Calif. - A heavy-weather coxswain and boatcrew from Station Monterey operate a 47-foot motor lifeboat in 10 to 13-foot swells Jan. 13, 2010. As a heavy-weather station, crews may operate rescue boats in up to 30-foot swells.
