SAN FRANCISCO -- Sea scouts from the S.S.S. Northland based in Richmond, Calif., practice shipboard damage control at the plug and patch training station, Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, during the annual Sea Scout Safety at Sea event held on Yerba Buena Island. The Coast Guard hosted the event at Sector San Francisco where more than 400 sea scouts and adult leaders participated in hands-on safety, shipboard damage control, fire fighting and law enforcement trainings over the weekend.
