    KODIAK, Alaska - A bust of Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Douglas A. Munro and a replica of his Medal of Honor is displayed aboard the cutter Munro for the crew Jan. 14, 2011. Munro was killed in action during the World War II Battle of Guadalcanal rescuing 500 stranded Marines earning him the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest honor for military personnel.
