PHILADELPHIA, Pa., (August 18, 2003)--A cover is placed on the fife rail for safe keeping by a member of the crew as the CGC Eagle begins its journey North towards the coast of Maine during the finally leg of the summer cruise. The Eagle is the only operational commissioned sailing vessel in the U.S. maritime services, and is used to train Coast Guard Academy Cadets and Officer Candidates. USCG photo by PA2 Matthew Belson.
