PACIFIC OCEAN - Members of the helicopter tie-down team secure straps to an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter moments after its landing aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Waesche, April 6, 2012.
The tie down is done to ensure the motion of the ship, caused by waves, doesn't cause the helicopter to tip over. Crewmembers are trained to tie the helicopter down, refuel it and even respond to an emergency on the landing pad.
