PACIFIC OCEAN - The 750-foot motor vessel, Forestal Diamante, rescues the crew of the 72-foot fishing vessel, Golden Eagle II, approximately 316 miles northeast of Johnston Island after they had to abandon ship due to a shipboard fire, June 14, 2012. The Forestal Diamante is part of a program called Automated Mutual Assistance Vessel Rescue System that teams with the Coast Guard in an effort to assist distressed vessels on the high-seas.
