Alexandria, VA -- On Aug 21, 2012, delegates from Myanmar's Department of Marine Administration (DMA) visited the Navigation Center (NAVCEN). The delegation group leader was Mr. Thet Htay, the Deputy Director (Nautical Section), Secretariat of Designated Authority for Maritime Security of Myanmar. The visit was coordinated and sponsored by the International Port Security (IPS) Program (LANT-5413). The IPS Program showcases how the U.S. implements the ISPS Code in U.S. ports and facilities with U.S. international trading partners.
