Coast Guard crew replaces defective fog detector on Point Loma

SAN DIEGO - Petty Officer 3rd Class Jason Flores, an electrician's mate at Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team San Diego, installs a new VM100 Fog Detector on the Point Loma Lighthouse Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. During an inspection of the lighthouse Nov. 6, the crew discovered the previous detector was faulty and were able to replace it prior to any discrepancies occurring.
