USCGC Bristol Bay transits Detroit River

The Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay, a 140-foot ice-breaking tug, approaches the Detroit and Windsor, Ontario skylines as it transits down the Detroit River, Nov. 26, 2012. The Bristol Bay is underway to remove navigational buoys from Lake Erie as part of the 9th Coast Guard District's annual Operation Fall Retrieve, which is designed to limit damage to navigation buoys in the Great Lakes during the winter months.
