Command Sgt. Maj. Neil Ciotola, 1st Cavalry Division, assumed his new appointment as the highest enlisted Soldier in the division, during a change of responsibility ceremony at Camp Cooke, Iraq, Aug. 28. Ciotola was the command sergeant major for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team prior to his new appointment as the command sergeant major of the division. During the ceremony, Ciotola received the division colors, passed down to him from Division Commander Maj. Gen. Peter Chiarelli.
