ARABIAN GULF (Feb. 9, 2004)--The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Aquidneck steams past a cargo dhow while on a patrol of the Khawr Abd Allah waterway in Iraqi territorial waters. The Coast Guard has deployed four 110-foot patrol boats to the region to support U.S. Navy 5th Fleet and coalition forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Maritime Interception Operations to stop illegal oil smuggling and to search for terrorists.
