Nearly 600 Seamen at the U.S. Naval Academy prepare the Naval Academy grounds in anticipation of severe weather from Tropical Storm Hanna and possibly Hurricane Ike. The Naval Academy is on the shores of the Severn River, which leads out to the Chesapeake Bay, and several academic, laboratory, engineering and physical education buildings are vulnerable to rising waters.
