On Nov. 18, the commanding officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, Cmdr. Jeff Kilian, promoted Ensign Delaine Anderson to lieutenant junior grade during a site visit to Twentynine Palms. Anderson was the officer in charge for a 21 person K-Span project in support of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center. After being promoted she said, “I can’t think of a better place to be promoted than on a project site. [Chief Steelworker Douglas White] and the entire crew have made this experience memorable and worthwhile.” Anderson looks forward to completing the first wave of the project before the end of the year.
