ALI BASE, Iraq - Airman First Class Robert Nicks (front right), a fire fighter with the 60th Civil Engineer Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., and Airman 1st Class Dan Arnoldy (rear left) with the 28th CES at Ellsworth AFB, S.D., currently deployed with the 407th Expeditionary Air Group CES/Fire Department, work as a team to move a patient to triage during a mass casualty exercise at Ali Base, Iraq, Oct. 17.
The exercise, which simulated a mass casualty fire alert, was conducted to prepare Ali's fire department for real world events.
