A joint civil affairs unit assigned to the Combined Joint Civil Military Operations Task Force visited the station and a bus terminal to assess their capabilities and disaster response plans. Wijarat is the station manager for the Phitsanulok Train Station. Yi is a civil affairs staff noncommissioned officer with the 303rd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 9th Mission Support Command.
