John Donnelly, deputy commanding general for 3rd Medical Command Deployment Support. The 379th Blood Support Detachment is currently at Fort Hood, Texas, preparing for a deployment to Afghanistan. Brig. Gen. Donnelly had previously commanded the unit when it was known as the 379th Blood Bank Headquarters, and the unit was deployed during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
