Sailors aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan stretch the training barricade during flight deck drills. Flight deck drills are a series of events that simulate what would happen should an aircraft have to crash land on the flight deck and are held so Sailors know how to properly respond in an actual emergency. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
