Airman Kevin Morris (left) of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 139 and Airman Nicholas Gilbert of Air Department, V-4 Division use deck brushes to scrub down the flight deck with soap and water on board the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Ship and squadron personnel took advantage, of the Sept. 19, 2008, maintenance day to work together in getting the flight deck ready for the next day's flight operations. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
