Sergeant 1st Class Ramon A. Quinones, a medical laboratory technician with the 5501st U.S. Army Hospital in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is competing in the Army Reserve Medical Command’s prestigious "Best Warrior Competition” in Helena, Mont., Feb. 24–27, 2013. Quinones, 40, a San Antonio native, is representing Central Medical Area Readiness Support Group from Fort Sheridan, Ill. Currently, he works as a medical technologist in his local community. Quinones earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2001.
