Col. Matt Baker, commanding officer of the Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group is awarded the Georgian Ministry of Defense medal for professional military cooperation between Republic of Georgia, United States of America and other foreign countries, as well as for participation in international peacekeeping operations, aboard Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany, Feb. 24. "I accept this award on behalf of all of us here, on behalf of a great deal of hard work within the Marines of Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group, Marine Forces Europe, U.S. Army and Georgian armed forces that have been training here. It is a great honor and tribute to receive such an award," said Baker.
