Army Reserve Ambassador, George H. Duell Jr. was one of the guest speakers at the Stand Down on Homelessness. The event was co-sponsored by the 326th MPAD Army Reserve Unit and Veterans Affairs, along with other local community volunteers. This is the first ever in Berks County to be led by an Army Reserve unit, the 326th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment located in Reading, PA. As the Army Reserve Ambassador, Duell ‘s primary function is to support Army Reserve Units in the North East and Central regions of Pennsylvania. “I love the opportunity to work with soldiers”, said Duell. The Army’s Yellow Ribbon Program, the Junior Officer Training Corps (JROTC ) at Wilson High School and unit deployment readiness are just a few of the initiatives that Duell has helped support.
