Senior Airman Andrew Young takes a break on a June day in Albu Ghrar, Iraq, after coordinating air surveillance with an F-16 Fighting Falcon. The 2nd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, captured three suspected terrorists while searching for a high-value individual in the village that day. Young, a joint terminal attack controller embedded with the 2-320th, coordinates close air support missions daily to protect Soldiers and Airmen working in and around Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Young, a native of State College, Pa., is deployed to the 1st Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron from Fort Hood, Texas.
