U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Kevin Stites, Combat Logistics Battalion 22, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), armorer and native of New Madison, Ohio, performs a pre-fire inspection on an M107 .50 caliber Special Applications Scoped Rifle aboard the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) in preparation for an upcoming exercise.
