An MH-60S Knighthawk, assigned to the "Blackjacks" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 21, delivers a pallet of supplies onto the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The Knighthawk is a twin-engine helicopter used for logistics support, vertical replenishment, search and rescue, naval special warfare support and future missions to include organic airborne mine countermeasures and combat search and rescue. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
