Marines with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, practice a supported assault with assistance from a Light Armored Vehicle with Light Armored Reconnaissance Platoon on the LAV maneuver assault course on Sept. 25, 2008, aboard Fort Pickett, Va., a Virginia Army National Guard Maneuver Training Center. The Marines of BLT 3/2 are conducting off-site training, the first major exercise of a six-month pre-deployment training cycle for the 22nd MEU.
