Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) fire controlled pairs while using the combat glide to move from the 25 to 15-yard line during day qualification of the Combat Marksmanship Program, Sept. 9, 2008. Because of the dynamic nature of urban combat, CMP, which teaches shooters to fire while pivoting and on the move, is a predeployment training requirement for II MEF (Fwd) Marines slated to go to Iraq early next year.
