Cmdr. Brian Alexander, embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge, performs eye surgery on twin brothers from the Dominican Republic to correct the Strabismus they were born with. Kearsarge is the supporting the Caribbean phase of Continuing Promise 2008, an equal-partnership humanitarian/civic assistance mission involving the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, France, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
